Two homeless market people on the heather near Kevelaer

had a vision of Mary on this empty crossroads

in the middle of nowhere.

"Build me a chapel".

The poor couple could only afford this picture card

glued on a wooden pole

and place it upon this lonely cross roads..

Now 800.000 people a year are praying at this place.

The original picture card is still there in Kevelaer

in the middle of her chapel

covered with silver and gold.
