Castle of
Doornenburg, the Netherlands
The ancient castle of Doornenburg has
been
the center of power for the families
Doornick, Bijlandt and Homoet.
In 891 AD the castle is already known,
but surely the original settlement is
much older.
For at least seven centuries the
nobility has given
stability and peace to these areas.
Both ley-lines and powers are measured
here.
