Dolphin of Peace
In the village of
Almere Haven, Netherlands
the statue of a
dolphin is the symbol of Peace.
Once a year many
people gather around the dolphin
to sing the anthem
Wilhelmus and
to cover the
dolphin with the Flowers of Peace and Remembrance.
Also the Fire of
Victory is burning next to the dolphin.
People will never
forget what happened
and by being alert
maybe
it is possible to
prevent occupation next time.
Freedom is what they
want and Peace.
